My nan, a totally inspirational woman who had loads of kids (there was no birth control in them days lol) but still carved out some time for herself to achieve great things. She was a feminist before the term was invented, she passed on many of her qualities to my mum, who often bunked off work to demonstarte at greenham common. Of course such fiercely feminist traits filtererd down to me too. I don't have a daughter, i only have one boy, so the chain ends with me, sadly.

Today is the anniverssary of Emelia Earhart, yank aviation pioneer, did many solo flights accross the worlds oceans. Broke all sorts of world records. As did our very own amy johnson. God bless all these feminists, we will continue the fight. The under 30's take women's equal rights for granted, they have no idea the debt of gratitude they owe these women.
