Upbeat Songs!

A right load of bollocks...

This is a very, very old tune from the 1940s but it is very upbeat which fits in with the thread. I've got the movie version on my laptop but that's been deleted from You Tube so you'll have to make do with this.

It doesn't matter what era the music comes from. If it makes you happy listening to it, then that's great. :smilin:

I love Judy Garland. 'The Trolley Song' from 'Meet In St Louis' (1944) is such a fantastically upbeat song. It's a great film too.

Another one from Judy. 'Get Happy' 'Summer Stock' (1950)

happy, upbeat songs for me are pop punk, mostly. I secretly fucking love it.

Poca, that song will always make me think of the awful dance moves from the lads in The Inbetweeners movie when they’re on holiday and trying to impress some ladies. :gigglesnshit:

I nearly died laughing the first time I watched that scene.

 - you prob know that's a remix of a very famous old Neapolitan song, Tu vuo' fa' l'americano, sung in a Neapolitan dialect that cracks me up every time I hear it...it's basically a song that takes the piss out of an Italian immigrant to the States, who suddenly wants to act all American and play "bayzza-boll" :gigglesnshit:
