Glasgow is such a friendly place, I go to Edinburgh more because we have a flat there to stay in sometimes but I’ve recently started going to Glasgow more to go to concerts and I was struck by how cheery folk are.

Aye, that’s true of most places I’ve been in Scotland too. Scottish folk are quite a friendly bunch..I’m biased though. :smilin:

The M74 is whiteout at the moment there are delays on it tonight and a yellow warning for snow and ice to include tomorrow too. Hope you make the game, though stay safe whatever you do!

And hate to add to this, but it's forecast to snow until about Tuesday with short interludes of rain/sun. M6 was at a standstill lastnight due to accidents and the M8 & M74 weren't fairing much better.

Will try and keep you informed about the weather up here before you go.

I woke up briefly at around 5 am this morning radio still on(sometimes that happens fell asleep with it on :mrgreen:

) anyway, I heard this guy saying he was on the M74 and that he'd been stuck on there since 5 the previous afternoon. :kinell:

What a nightmare!

70mph winds are coming here tonight from about 12, hopefully I can sleep through it.
