What goes on? Now I have burnt the roof of my mouth trying a potato, whole of one side of the roof of my mouth swollen and it’s leaking water out! I’ve had to have a gin and ginger beer to soothe it.

Aye it is. :shake head: my nephew is coming up later to sort it so that’s fine but the freezer drawer is about £50 to replace!

Good luck with the pipe, can you put a basin under it or something? Did you have water leaking for a while before you noticed?

£50 for a freezer drawer? They're just plastic aren't they?

The pipes too low for a basin, can only fit a shallow collecting dish under it, not big enough. :shake head:

I think I'll tape it up after all. Just for today, fingers crossed the bath won't go through the floor.

That’s what I thought but when I googled I couldn’t believe the price.

Aye best tape it and try not to use too much it until you can get it sorted. I know someone who had a bath fall though the ceiling, there had been a slow leak for a long time and the floor boards were rotted through.

I may have found the leak just in time! Or else that would be us :kinell:

Stop, sit down and wrap yourself up in cotton wool for the rest of the year!

Or just endure the calamities of life.

My pipes are all fixed, wasn't the threading thing, I just wasn't connecting it properly, there's a sleeve it was suppose to fit in apparently. :dunno:

I’m glad you got it sorted. I hate not being able to have a bath.

My nephews had a try but I think we need a new locking mechanism or something like that, he’s getting someone to have a look later on .

Yeah, sponge baths aren't quite as luxurious.
Good luck with the lock.

It’s been fixed for the time being but we will need a new door eventually it’s all out of alignment, badly fitted. We kind of suspected as much.
