It looks like a fairly modern piece of art rather than something that was painted centuries ago.

The style and shape reminds me of a cameo brooch.

Yes it does resemble a cameo brooch. :laughing:

One of my favourite examples of ancient art is the solid Diorite statue of 'Khafre Enthroned' - almost five millennia old and still absolutely stunning. :cuppaT:
