This will be very big news indeed if the apparent detection of a mysterious hidden cavity and a void in the Great Pyramid turns out to be true.

The Terra-Cotta Warriors.

A documentary is on BBC2 at 20.00 tonight on this very subject.

The programme is presented by the always excellent (and red hot) Dr Alice Roberts. :wubbers:

Howard Carter's depiction in the recent King Tut series was all very interesting and who cares about artistic license, it was pretty good.
Also recently watching Alice Roberts and company to now know there were 5 species of humans sharing the planet at one time was and is fascinating

Other matters that I'm finding intriguing are the Female Chinese Empress and the claims now that the Terracotta Army are of Classical Greek influence and some of the adornments buried therein needed skills found only in the Middle East at that time.

I'd watch Alice Roberts buttering bread or driving the kids to school. :cuppaT:

She's the sexiest archaeologist in the history of archaeology .
