The ultimate 'snowflake' (although I hate that term tbh).

The 58-60 version of Liston was a true force of nature - because of the mafia and the two dodgy fights with Ali (the 2nd was just an excuse for Sonny to take a dive but had nothing to do with The Greatest) people forget that.

In those years some seasoned observers were saying that he was the best heavyweight of all time.

The Masters snooker was great last night, Mark Allen is looking really good this week. He’s already beat two of the all time greats en route to the final, the match fixing cheat sweaty John Higgins and the bottle job English cunt O’Sullivan. He plays Englishman Kyren Wilson in the final, so there will be a new name on the trophy this year. I’d usually support an Englishman in a final but I really like Mark Allen so I’ll be cheering him on...

Later tonight my New England Patriots play the Jags in a battle for a place at The Super Bowl... looking forward to that too, shame it clashes with the snooker!

Watching the masters has helped me sleep the last couple of nights. I don't mean that in a bad way, it's relaxing.

Not a leg-end but certainly a something-end in everyone else's eyes.

Well done to Mark Allen, well deserved. It finished a little quicker than I thought it would. Which is good when it comes to sleep.

The Six Nations start next weekend and Scotland are off to Wales in their opening match.

I'm filled with genuine confidence this time and really think we have a good chance of winning it.

The Auld Enemy visit Scotland on the 24th of Feb.

Federer did it again.

Twenty Grand Slams and counting - remarkable.
