Oh it does miss, it does. I like Hendry more these days though.

Good man. :wubbers:

Anyway i must go, Champions League tonight.

I'm looking forward to the Bayern Munich game, their playing that mob from Glasgow and i'm hoping Bayern win about 10-0.

Enjoy, hope you get your wish. I've gone off watching football, it's not that high on my list of favourite sports anymore.

I'm watching rocket Ronnie right now.

Translates as the team i support, have had a terrible start to the season.

Stick with them JP and forget about Ronnie.

I can't imagine me going off football.

We nearly went out the game a few years ago and the struggle from making the way back from the Third Division to the SPL has made me more fanatical about them.

Enjoy your other sports JP.

It’s gonna be tight in the Texans division this year. They have a very chance of making the post season, their division is wide open...

Just a nice photo of two of the top three welterweights of all time (along with Robinson) at least in my opinion - Mayweather would have been in deep, deep shit if he had to face Ray or Tommy at their peak in the early 80's. :cuppaT:

The Ashes start next month, that's a good cure for insomnia.

Haha.. I love the ashes but the home series is much better time zones and all that. We will have plenty of highlights though.

One of the highlights of the sporting year for me!

Been reading Duran and Ray's autobiographies.

The contrast could not have been starker.

Ray admitted Tommy won the rematch in '89.

As I always suspected out of the FOUR KINGS Ray and Tommy were by far the nicest people and are actually very good friends now as well. :smilin:

Contrast that to Hagler's endless whining.

Sorry Marvin you got lucky when Tommy broke his right hand in the first few seconds, barely beat Roberto and lost to Ray (115-113 on my card) - all much smaller men.

If you had beaten some other great middleweights like Ketchel, Greb, Monzon, Hopkins or GGG then your boring victimhood would have had some merit.

Few people will have heard of him now.

But this bloke may well have been the greatest pound for pound fighter who ever walked the earth. :cuppaT:

Out of the four, forget weight class or prime etc...

Leonard
Hearns
Duran
Hagler

That’s my order...

Interesting list.

Hearns is vastly underrated in my opinion and coming in at 145 cost him in 'The Showdown' - just think if Ray had not been around at Welter.

The sheer destruction of the poor bastards sharing a ring with him does not really bear thinking about! :ooer:

Just how great to hear the superb Don Dunphy - listening to him makes today's over hysterical boxing commentators utterly redundant.

Mods - the emoticons do not seem to be working for some reason.

Does anyone here watch Speedway? How about you Vicky?

The last race of the Grand Prix season is tomorrow morning. I think it's a great sport to watch, it very seldom gets talked about though.
