It's a shame the number of wrestlers, who've died young.

Eddie Guerrero's death really got to me, i liked him a lot.

Then there was Chris Benoit and what he did.

Some people think it might have been the steroids that caused him to do it.

I know, I also remember the sick rumors claiming it was a stunt, and Eddie wasn't really dead. Chris Benoit situation is a terrible one. Wouldn't surprise me, I've known one or two people who took steroids, it isn't good. You can become strong without them, get a physical job ffs or just exercise without using steroids, it's not that difficult.

I can remember when the Benoit killings first happened and initially the WWE seem to think they had died of some illness and then the truth emerged.

They removed all traces of Chris Benoit as fast as they could from their merchandise.

I know a man who took steroids and he used to go into terrible rages.

His wife left him and most of his children broke off all contact with him.

I'm sure there was a thread last year on DS about Eddie and talk that he was still alive.

It was Chavo Guerrero who found Eddie, they were ages with each other but were uncle and nephew.

I liked Chavo as well.

Time is finally catching up with Wlad and I believe Anthony could possibly be the next truly great heavyweight on the planet, to become so he has to win on Saturday and I think he will - by mid to late rounds KO.

I'll be listening on the radio, I'm not paying extra for any fight.

Anyone into snooker? The world championships has been good this year, well I think so.

I'm also looking forward to grand prix speedway being back on our screens, love a bit of speedway. Also, Murray may well get to play Nadal in the final on sunday, if they both get through their semi-finals, of course. A pretty good sporting weekend coming up.

The DS thread is pretty good.

I have a new name for Selby - not all this 'Jester' crap - the Matchplay Terminator.

World and UK champion twice and triple Masters winner (so far) in the toughest era of all time - and he is only 33.

The man is made of pure Adamantium - but today he was matched.

Whether he wins or loses this is Ding's greatest ever performance - anyone else in this championship would have been buried against Mark by now and that includes O'Sullivan.

Simply awesome snooker tonight and all square at 12-12.

Ok, might check it out. I think Ding got a big boost when he beat Ronnie his idol, he'd never really beaten him before in major tournaments. I think it's give him the confidence to even possibly take Selby down. The final session is going to be very interesting.

Selby at his best is as good as Ronnie and John Higgins at their best, but Ronnie and John are not usually at their best these days. You still can't right Higgins off though, a 4 times champ, at times in this tournament he has looked back to his best.

The rest of the tournament is going to be good no matter what.

The final is going to be an anticlimax after the Selby/Ding match, they are both producing top class snooker.
The Higgins/Hawking match on the other hand looks like a clash of two amateurs.
The least worse will win that one.

Poor Andy, I think he's just missing that SUPER elite fitness edge, that you need to beat the very best, especially on clay. Since the shingles. The edge that some of the very fittest people on the planet have can disappear surprisingly quickly, and it takes far longer to get back than it does to disappear. But I'm sure he'll get it back again, soon.
