As for Jimmy - 7/42 - wonderful. :cuppaT:

Next week GGG v Canelo on the 16th - a real superfight not a overhyped farce like Money v McGregor.

I missed it today due to live streaming the Brechin Falkirk match online.

NFL starts in earnest tomorrow. Up the Texans.

I only have Freeview so I listen to TMS and watch the highlights.

Blowers retired today - the dear old thing, he will be missed. :cuppaT:

I used to see Blowers a lot during 88-95 as i delivered books to him from his publisher. We chat a lot on twitter. He will never be forgotton. Have a guess which sporting stadium he lives a stones throw away from?

JJ Watt made an emotional return to the Reliant Stadium after fundraising for the victims of Harvey. He helped raise tens of millions for the locals after most of last season on the sidelines due to injury. Wb JJ. Go get 'em. :canny:

Texans were 0-19 down at half time. 7-26 vs the Jags who have had some poor seasons recently is way below par.

It seems more and more Black Americans are kneeling down, during America's National Anthem because they say it's racist.

It's the third verse, that's the problem.

"No refuge could safe the hireling and slave" "From terror of flight or the gloom of the grave"

A lot of Scots won't sing God Save The Queen, because they think it's offensive.

"May he sedition hush and like a torrent rush, rebellious Scots to crush"

Biggest fight in the middleweight division for many years later tonight - GGG the undefeated baby-faced execution machine (truly lovely bloke outside the ring though) will stop Canelo late after a brutal (and rather technical) war.

Even though he is getting on now I predict a KO between rounds 9 and 11.

GGG was robbed and that corrupt bitch Adalaide Byrd must really have some dirt on her superiors given her disgusting record of judging in title fights.

Fuck her. :brickwall:

No wonder boxing is in such a state - it's not the fighters who are fixed (Canelo fought brilliantly) it's the fucking judges.

GGG won clearly - it's simply disgusting.

Still can't believe Sat - De La Hoya waited and waited until GGG lost his youth and still paid off Byrd to fuck up the fight - it was 116 -112 (115-113 at the worst) to me.

Draw my arse and forget all about that 'judge's 118-110 scorecard to Canelo.

I've been a long standing fan of the Oilers then Texans. They last two performances with this new young QB have been light years away from previous ones. We usually get hammered at the Pats away but only lost by 3 in the last minutes of the match. Yesterday we absolutely thrashed the old Oiler franchise now called the Tennessee Titans. We hit our record score at 47 points and ran up another 10 before time ran out. The benchmark has been set.
