Doomlord2, Creamy, Vicks and Punks Scottish Football Part 5

A right load of bollocks...

I have mixed feelings about dumping Strachan. At least he has left a semi-settled team for his successor. I don't think going back to McLeish is a good idea. Anyone but Malky MacKay - he shouldn't be anywhere near a management job. Dare I say - Tommy Wright or Michael O'Neill?

Vicks, your guys got a good victory tonight, I really did think it would be closer than that. Congrats.

The scoreline flatters Rangers.

St Johnstone played well and don't forget, they had ten men for the last twenty minutes.

Tommy Wright is a good choice, but reading between the lines it looks like Davie Moyes.

Steve Clarke - West Brom/ Reading
Malky Mackay - Watford/ Cardiff
Steve Kean - Blackburn
Steve Evans - Rotherham
Billy Davies - Derby/ Forest
Derek McInnes - Bristol City
Owen Coyle - Bolton/ Wigan/ Blackburn
Paul Lambert - Aston Villa/ Blackburn/ Wolves

Plenty of available Scottish managers it seems.

Steve Clarke been named Kilmarnock manager, Owen Coyle is Ross County manager as well.

Failed in England, now back in Scotland, taking the easier option (add Neil Lennon to that list as well).

Michael O'Neill is on a long term contract and buying that out will cost millions.

Which the SFA don't have Punkers.

After failing to qualify for a major tournament for twenty years. we can't keep playing the manager.

What happened to the great players we used to produced?

Dalglish, Souness, Law, Baxter etc?

Thirty years ago this week, this game took place..

The so called Old Firm "Shame Game" that saw three players sent off and four players charged by the police and ending up in court.

Big Terry Butcher and Chris Woods were sent off for the Gers and Frank McAvennie was sent off for Celtic.

All three of them were charged by the polis along with Graham Roberts, who ended up playing in goals. (It was before the days teams had a substitute goalkeeper.

Big Goughy made it 2-2 in the dying seconds and Robbo was conducting the Rangers fans as they belted out the highly contentious "Billy Boys"

Poppy Scotland asked all twelve SPL teams if they could make a poppy badge with their teams crest beside it and only six teams agreed.

Rangers
St Johnstone
Hearts
Hibs
Dundee
Motherwell

The guilty six are..

Celtic
Partick Thistle
Aberdeen
Ross County
Killie
Hamilton Accies.
