Bubba the Chi Apso (A cross between a Chihuahua and a Lapo Apso) scoffed the turkey for her families Christmas dinner.

The family had no idea what Bubba had done until she suddenly collapsed on the floor unable to move.

There's another story of a cat eating up a booze filled Xmas cake. The cat had to be put on a drip at the vets who checked out it's kidneys. This is what happens when people leave food on the side when animals are about. One year my parents' dog pinched a whole chicken.

My Godmother left two boxes of chocolates under the tree one year and her wee corgi eat them.

She thought he wouldn't know what they were, because they were wrapped up.

This story is out of my own backyard here in Northeastern Ohio. While fishing, the Chagrin River two steelhead fishermen caught the “catch of a lifetime”: a frozen 16-foot long snake!

Angler Sam Lincoln posted on Instagram pictures of the beast and said this: “When you’re trying to swing up some holiday steel and you don’t catch any fish but you catch a 16-foot constrictor instead.”

While warmer regions like Florida have become overrun with invasive pet snakes, they do not live long when released into the wilds in Ohio’s climate. The errant snake owners should feel very guilty at the death of this huge snake. If you can’t take care of them, give them to an animal shelter. Worse yet, what if that snake would have injured or killed someone over the summer? There are certainly no winners in this story, other than the anglers, who caught one heck of a catch.

Looks like a Burmese python MD.

Shitloads of them in Florida now.

Biggest caught there so far was 18ft 7 inches.

A dog in Ukraine spend two days cold, injured and stranded on a railway line and faced certain death.

Image

However thanks to her wee pal, the dog survived.

Lucy as she's now been called was too injured to move from the track, but Panda kept her alive by staying by her side and pushing her head down, when trains zoomed over her.

Image

Hopefully Lucy and Panda will get a home together.

Boss the cat was found 200 miles away from his home and he still hasn't been claimed by his owner.

Boss was found in the back of a van in Swanscombe in Kent and is believed to have sneaked into the van in either Birmingham or Telford in Shropshire.

This dog was neglected for more than a year and was found with so much fur, he could barely move.

Thankfully Cocos was rescued.

This cat "Kidnapped" an entire litter of puppies.

It seems the puppies mum wasn't taking care of the pups and the cat had recently had a litter of kittens which had died.

So the cat was able to nurse the pups and went and collected them one at a time and started looking after them.

Finlay the Jack Russell managed to glue his month shut, when he chewed a leaflet that was put through the letterbox.

The paper of the leaflet reacted with Finaly's saliva which cemented his chops shut and he had to be rushed to the vets.
