The Scottish SPCA are trying to trace the owner of a wee lamb who was found wandering down a street in Dumfries.

The lamb wasn't tagged but he was wearing a wee plastic coat and someone had painted the number 13 on his side in purple paint.

An orphaned Pine Marten is being looked after by the Scottish SPCA.

The rare mammal who's believed to be about one month old has been called Marvel and is being looked after at the SSPCA centre in Clackmannashire.

A hunt is underway for the scumbag who dumped 15 wee kittens in a suitcase in East London.

It's reckoned the kittens are made up of four litters.

Thankfully all the kittens are healthy, but they're too young to be away from their mum's.

PAY-Finn-the-police-dog.jpg

Government Minister Brandon Lewis has announced harsher punishments for people, who hurt police dogs and service animals.

Police dog Finn was stabbed and almost died by a scumbag he was chasing along with his handler Dave Wardell last October.

Up until the new measures were announced, hurting a police-dog was regarded as "Criminal Damage"

I'm glad the law has been changed.

I regard damaging a car as "Criminal Damage" i think trying to kill a dog is a lot more serious.

Finn has retired now and here's a clip of him yesterday at the seaside.

Traffic was brought to a standstill on Scotland's busiest motorway today after a dog was spotted running along the carriage way.

Motorists set up a roadblock to help the police catch Fido and he was finally captured at 11am.

The story i posted yesterday about the dug running around the motorway reminded me of another canine who brought chaos to Scotland's roads a couple of years ago.

Farmer Tom Hamilton left sheepdog Don in his tractor, when he went to check on some lambs and Don and the tractor ended up hitting the cental barrier and smashing the windscreen.

I can mind the traffic reporter on Clyde laughing as she read out a dog had been seen driving a tractor, i think everyone thought it was a wind up.
