I don't remember it this bad since the late 60's.
Had to go out for a drive with the air con blowing. An hours relif but as I got back out of the car bang ... this oppressive heart hit me.
Now it's large fan blowing and a couple of bottles of Bud.

Ahhh wasn't imagining it.
Hottest in forty years apparently.
It's building up again.

Yep. Pretty much this. I was looking forward to a good storm. I'm relieved my upstairs isn't like a bloody sauna anymore though, I might be able to get a full nights sleep tonight.
