In this area one is not allowed to park in a Council disabled bay without a Blue Badge, however it does not mean that a Blue Badge Holder can park for free, they still have to pay the going Parking Fees.

All that having a Blue Badge in this area means is that in Council run Car Parks, disabled bay`s will be available for those that display the badge

I've got a blue badge and it entitles me to absolutely nothing, not even parking in a disabled bay, free or otherwise.

Far to many major , there's a bloke I known for years , he on the dole and has a blue badge , he a painter and decorator and works for locals around here for cash in hand , been doing it 30 years plus , we all laugh at him , when we call up to his flat , he always open the door with him on his crutches , as soon he recognised it's a friendly face he chuck his crutches to one side , there's many like him out there
