Instead, we see an abrupt uptick as the climate warms at a rate that appears to be unprecedented in the paleoclimate record (you know, the one you refer to when it suits you).

It would be very odd for me to deny the existence of the very things that climate scientists have spent many decades studying and writing about. I leave science denial to uneducated dimwits like you.

The point is that the natural trajectory of the climate system would have been cooling, not warming, were it not for human intervention. Radiative forcing from our CO2 emissions currently overrides all natural forcings.
