Vam wrote:@ Markey...I had a similar glandular illness to yours last year. Two tumours, one lesion and, like you, my weight literally kept plummeting by the hour - to the point where I was practically on the verge of total organ shutdown.

After surgery and regular ongoing monitoring, I'm all good to go again  Path results showed tumours & lesion were benign, knock on wood.

With me, it ALL started with an autoimmune disease which affected my eyes. It's called Graves Disease. You might want to check it out, or maybe ask to be tested for Graves.

If you want to check it out yourself online, the best site to do that is the Mayo Clinic's. Easy to follow medical terminology, symptoms listed helpfully, and no ads flashing about all over the screen. Just type Graves into the search facility there, to see if any of the symptoms ring a bell for you.

Good luck.

ETA...and I've just re-read your post more closely a couple of times, only to realise pretty much all I've just posted will probably be completely useless info. Sorry!

I have a eye test in hospital , but I have started sometimes see double vision,

Thanks vam

If he has the tumour and it's a big if then it's a pituitary tumour which are almost always benign and can usually be removed safely.

I'm sure that will be a comfort to him - and his gramma.

ITS no big deal and I’m not sick engough to make it up I have pitiuitary tumour and have a large lesion , most pituitary Tumours are benign , when I had my mri scan and after a few days the doctor said I had pituruty tumour and said don’t worry as it probably is begin , but will have to see a specialist to confirm it , doctor never mention that I had a lesion , but mention all side effects Concerning pituruly tumour, that why I put up if anyone had a friend or love one ever had pituitary tumour on a thread , just to see what I’m facing in the future , said I think someone closed to me had it , was shock with the results and didn’t want posters trolling if they knew it was me , since then I have seen a specialist had lot more test and I have cancer to the pituitary, but he also told me about the lesion, what my doctor never mention , and I have to have more test done , in a month I lost 3 stone , some days my head fill like it want to bust , especially around my eyes and forehead , I going in to have another mri scan to rest of my body , before the operate on the brain tumour if they don, specialist said I have a 40% chance . Death doesn’t scare me , leaving love ones behind does , that what hurts when I think about it

You’d can troll take the piss, call me a lair , to be honest I don’t care , trolls are the last thinking about

All the best to you and your family then Mark.

That's shocking Mark, your partner should immediately take action against Southwark - this is what the EOC say:

Definition Of Race According To The Equality Act 2010

The Act is clear in its definition of race. Race means being part of a group of people who are identified by their nationality, citizenship, colour, national or ethnic origins. If you belong to any one of these groups and you experience discrimination, it would be counted as race discrimination. It also counts as discrimination if you are not part of any one of these groups but someone discriminates against you because they think you are. This is known as perceived race discrimination.

Race discrimination that occurs within any of the subsequent settings is unlawful:

In the workplace.
In any educational institution.
Housing.
When providing services or goods such as in the banking, entertainment or transportation industries.
Any activity performed by any of our public authorities like the police, prisons, the NHS, local authorities and government departments.

Also, irrespective of whether the race discrimination was deliberate or unintentional, it would still count as discrimination and be deemed unlawful.

You need a claim form from the County Court to begin proceedings but you need to claim within 3 months so don't delay.

he's saying his partner knows southwark council is corrupt, so why hasn't she done something about it already? she's just as guilty as them by keeping quiet and not exposing it.

you should be having it in the next 2 weeks or you want to change your specialist. i'm surprised he's kept you waiting this long, they don't usually mess around.

Waiting for more results , plus were the tumour is , it’s in a awkward place to get at , believe the specialist or surgeon having meeting with another specialist for 2nd opinion , last result I believe is radiology to make the tumour smaller , just waiting till they tell me my options
