When we leave the EU

A right load of bollocks...

When we leave the EU

Postby luddite » Sun Sep 03, 2017 5:46 am

I'm looking forward to -

1. The return of British Standards kitemark, replacing the CE mark.

2. Fire extinguishers reverting back to their allocated colours, ie red for water, cream for foam, black for CO2 etc, instead of the EU doctrine of all extinguishers being red, but with a small coloured square to denote the contents.

3. A return to live wire = red, neutral = black. I will concede that the current green and yellow for earth is better than plain green, but after 40 years, brown and blue is still stupid.

4. The EU standard for electrical appliance switches - 'O' for on and 'I' for off. Or is it 'O' for on? after forty years it still comes down to whether the little red light is on or not.

I hope David Davies is negotiating the above points - everything else is just trivia.

If we revert back to Pre - EU Standards, how are our manufacturers going to be able to sell their goods abroad ?

Or are they supposed to have two standards to work to, i.e one for sale on the UK, one to sell abroad,

The cost of Manufacturing goods would place this Country out of the Global Trading Market .

The EU have stated they will only buy CE certified products from the UK.

The EU isn't scratching its head, its shitting its pants.

Without the UK's billions in blood money it will implode.

I hope it won't, but it will.

Please only respond to this if you aren't a troll. :again?:

You are all show off guessing pretenders who actually do not know anything for sure, if you did you would be leading our country out of the poo.

Immediately on completion of Brexit I propose a tax on beards.
Given the affectation of beards by faux arty types and the invasion of bearded males this should help our economy.
