I'm looking forward to -
1. The return of British Standards kitemark, replacing the CE mark.
2. Fire extinguishers reverting back to their allocated colours, ie red for water, cream for foam, black for CO2 etc, instead of the EU doctrine of all extinguishers being red, but with a small coloured square to denote the contents.
3. A return to live wire = red, neutral = black. I will concede that the current green and yellow for earth is better than plain green, but after 40 years, brown and blue is still stupid.
4. The EU standard for electrical appliance switches - 'O' for on and 'I' for off. Or is it 'O' for on? after forty years it still comes down to whether the little red light is on or not.
I hope David Davies is negotiating the above points - everything else is just trivia.
