Do you have tomato soup with basil? I do but the basil taste is a bit tame.

I never make my own tomato soup, its the only flavour I buy ready made. I did buy a tin of plum tomato soup with basil last week as it happens, couldn't taste the basil at all and was too similar to a basic can of tomatoes. I'm back to plain old favourite cream of. :drool:

Yeah of course (Morrisons, Asda, Tesco etc) - but I was making the point that turning your nose up at shops because they sell certain foods at bargain prices (due to bulk buying etc) is bloody daft.

Why pay three times the price for exactly the same item?

I went down to the butchers today for the £20 meat for the week, lots of mince and desperation :shake head:

i've got a pound of pork mince that is obviously failed sausages, what do? :dunno:
