The Queen Patron of the RSPB clubs a Pheasant to death at a Royal Shoot.

Yes I find animals killed by the Halal method abhorrent, but I also find what you do revolting.

In fact it could probably be argued, the Halal animals die a quicker and more humane death, than the animals you shoot.

Unless you're a crack-shot, (Which I highly doubt) you probably miss most of the time and leave the poor little sods injured to die in agony.

It's ridiculous that someone who hunts is starting a thread like this.

As you said if hala animals die a quicker and humane death, next time one of your cats or dogs have to put down , why not just ask someone to slit their throats, as you said it’s quicker and more humane death .

Where did you see Halal slaughter Markey and what did you see?

I used to work in a pig abattoir and I visited several slaughterhouses when I was driving for a meat packing firm, I've seen the lot. I've also participated in these threads on various forums, usually started by the same people only to have my experiences derided or ignored by the shouters :shake head:

Seen animals killed for hala meat and no it’s not a humane death at all , seen aminals killed non hala it’s not nice ,but killing for hala is horrible they do suffer longer , I’m a vecan and could harm anything animal , not saying this because of the religion side of it ,

I think point major trying to make , people slags him off for shooting animals ,same people are prepared to eat hala , in what animals do suffer more than non hala killings ,

C

You obviously didn't bother to read the link I provided for maj.

How long will you ignore this post?
As long as it takes to bodge together some kind of answer after Googling around?

Kosher slaughter does ban pre-stunning but it's odd that it's always halal that's raised as an issue.

Kosher, Halal and any other method of slaughter (or animal cruelty from whatever faith) which increases suffering due bullshit texts written in the desert millennia ago should all be banned.

If any animal has to die in food production it should be done as swiftly and with as little distress to the animal as possible.

So should the hacking about of babies genitals for that matter.

But that won't happen because for some reason organised religion is viewed as a 'special' case even in 21st century democracies like ours.

Smashing a Birds skull in, using a club to kill it, is acceptable
But Halal slitting its throat would not be, Fair enough !

Had it not been shot in the first place it would have no pain.

I have no doubt Starbold would enjoy seeing the fox hunting ban revoked and watch them get ripped to bits in agony by baying hounds.
