Anyone watching it?

The first thing that stands out for me is the stunning footage and how crystal clear it is.

Here's a few facts about the series...

It's on record. I'll watch a soon as I can. Love David Attenborough programs.

Yeah it's filmed in 4K ultra HD. Hopefully the BBC will get a 4K TV channel soon enough, and then you'll see it at it's full potential. It'll be even better. If you own a 4K TV of course.

I've got standard Sky HD - but it's still amazing!

I know you haven't watched it yet, and without wanting to give too much away - the little Tusk fish - how intelligent and strong was he?

We sometimes don't realise how amazingly versatile and intelligent fish can be?

I keep pausing and re-watching it, as I just want to take it in.

Yeah, you need the box that's capable of outputting 4K as well. First and foremost though the Beeb need to get a 4K TV channel going. I wish they would.

Sounds good, I'll look out for it. :smilin:

It sounds wonderful and I have recorded it hun. X

Only trouble is my shitty digital telly so I will probably watch online so it is in HD at least.

When David passes (hopefully not for a few decades) we really will have lost someone special - forget about the wildlife for a second - commissioning Civilisation, The Ascent of Man, Pot Black and Monty Python's Fly Circus would have been enough for any normal mortal.

I am watching the programme later tonight but on the DS thread some posters have called it 'boring' and one genius moaned that all the animals were 'CGI'.

They should stick to TOWIE and the like.

Watched it last night.

I was blown away - even by the standards of the BBC and Sir David this was simply groundbreaking wildlife television - so many stunning moments but I will not spoil it for you. :cuppaT:
