The Police Service Of Northern Ireland has come in for ridicule after saying kissing someone under the mistletoe without consent, equals RAPE.

Hundreds of people have accused the police force of trivialising the crime.

The Police force said the message had been taken out of context, but to remember that when out socialising over Christmas, without consent is rape.

I take bump to mean sex as in bumping uglies?
I think the txt means, taking advantage of someone who is pissed out of their heads and no idea what they are doing is rape.

Get snoged at Christmas and don't rape them, K, gottit.

Where did common sense and basic morals go? I think that we are being sold short on the critical thinking of the British public.

*ponders, hmm, brexit.*

Maybe some people need a reminder :dunno:

I doubt your regular garden variety sexual Deviant is going to be stopped in his tracks by this message. Can you imagine pervy Pete putting his cock away after reading this on Twitter? No, me neither...

Utterly ridiculous Vic. Too many people are looking at being offended and taking up imaginary fights on behalf of others these days.

Real assault and rape exist anyway, that should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, no need to go looking for imaginary cases, concentrate on the ones they know about.

Historic child abuse inquiry? :shake head:

(off to read what others have said now)

Common sense and basic morals?
We've always had rapists and we've always had people with little common sense. They haven't suddenly vanished.
As to Brexit, I'd say it's an advantage to get away from this PC world we are now living in. Where someone has to be reminded by a text message that rape is wrong.
