The index is created using 35 separate indicators to rank the countries that contribute most to the greater good of humanity rather than for their own citizens.
Unsurprisingly it's the brainchild of a sopping wet liberal 'honorary' professor at the University of East Anglia, named Simon Anholt.
According to his publicists: "Simon has worked with the Heads of State and Heads of Government of more than fifty countries over the last twenty years, helping them to engage more productively and imaginatively with the rest of the world."
So basically, instead of getting a proper job, he's been galavanting around the world on other peoples money, telling equally 'liberal minded' developed countries what cunts they are for looking after their own people and they should worry about the rest of the world instead.
It appears that he goes down very well in those countries as you'd expect when you see the list of 'top tenners' Netherlands, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Sweden, Ireland, United Kingdom, Austria and Norway.
It doesn't say how he gets on in other countries, or if he's actually visited them in person to "help them engage more productively and imaginatively with the rest of the world" the fact that he still has his head attached to his shoulders, suggests he hasn't.
The reason for highlighting this is that 'tragedy upon tragedy' the UK has dropped to 8th place in the table, being usurped by Ireland just recently. That alone is a fucking joke as it's very easy to be philanthropic and benevolent with other peoples money, yes the Irish would have been back to picking spuds out of the ground to survive years ago, if it wasn't for the UK bailing them out the shit they got themselves into.
So should we be dismayed and fret about this 'situation' ...... far from it, the ordinary people of this country should be fucking rejoicing at the news.
