In earlier days he did get on my tits, as I got older though I realised what a laugh he was and not the least bit precious.

Thoughts to his loved ones, not least to sister BBC DJ Janis Long who always defended him in his darker days and never once tried to disown him as some in the semi limelight might have.

Nutter that he is now, I think back when they worked together Noel Edmonds had a genuine affection for Cheggers, they always seemed to work well together and nothing ever seemed 'forced' or 'false' between them when they interacted.
