Why do you use the term Conspiracy theory/ist

A right load of bollocks...

Why do you use the term Conspiracy theory/ist

Postby Fletch » Fri Dec 15, 2017 7:26 pm

I was thinking after a few people used the term CT in news, why do you use that term?

What qualifies something as a CT to you?

Is it something you don't understand, a site that's not msm, eg BBC, Telegraph, Mail. or something you think sounds implausible?

IMO it’s only ignorant fuckers who dismiss people that question things as CTers or tinfoil hat wearers(seriously, that’s such a 90s joke).

Something you do not want to believe or seems too fantastic to believe, e.g.

The Jack Kennedy killing

The death of Natalie Wood

The death of Marylyn

Plus JFK JR, a certain Arkansas political family apparently had something to do with that...

I’d class a CTer as an anal probing alien believer. Probably chuck in other stuff too, like those who believe the fake 9/11 and shit like that.

You have a point Puzzler. Governments/the powers that be have spent a long time via the media of constructing official narratives. To the point now where any questioning of the offcial explanation is jumped upon as a CT. Encouraging people to repeat mantra rather than think for themselves is dangerous in the long run. 1984.

Weapons Went From The CIA To ISIS In Less Than Two Months

Mainstream media in 2013: "Conspiracy Theorists!"
Mainstream media in 2017: "ISIS Got a Powerful Missile the CIA Bought!"

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-12-1 ... dy-reveals

One of many examples.

You had me in agreement until 9/11.

The fake 9/11 meaning what?

Those who believe no one died and it was all staged.
Oh and the crisis actors. I’d call those a conspiracy theorists thing too.

Ahh got you. I thought you might have meant questioning the official narrative of buildings falling down due to fire (Grenfell and other didn't) or on their own (building 7)

Crisis actors do exist as do false flags. That doesn't mean no-one dies or gets injured though. False flag being an incident carried out by people to make it look like another group, not that something diudn't happen.

Yeah I wouldn’t include the questioning of it as a CTer, just the extreme side of the questioning.
I actually think of that film with the alien, Paul??

I tend to go by how mad the supporters of said theory are.

It seems questioning anything or offering an alternative point of view now is almost always seen as a CT. The fake news mantra started by CNN and used by the msm has come back to bite them on the arse but we now have a combination of fake news or CT used to shut down debate. The reason the CIA propagated the term way back when.

There are many like the flat earthers and lizard people that are bonkers. The trouble is, all CT end up in the same category for most people so popular support, or not, isn't a great measure.

Labelling anything and everything as CT does permit governments to deny or hide their more nefarious behaviour though; either by them or agents acting for them.
