No, I didn't know about the dogs, Vic, but I've just read the article. Unbelievable.

Let's hope the dogs were at least able to to occasionally give those kids a reason to smile...

Reading through those charges, was shocking Vam.

Keeping toys were the children could see them, but weren't allowed to play with them and eating pies in front of them, while they starved.

It's beyond belief.

The Turpins face a minimum of 94 years if convicted.

Lawyers reckon the trial could last more than a year.

:yikes: I guess when you consider that they would likely face multiple separate charges against each child and how many children they have and how many years it went on, the rap sheet is probably going to be a mile long and take a week to read out in court.

Get it right!

The sentence could be anything from 94 years to life, which if you were Methuselah it might give you cause for concern.

I read there is talk that Police might send in cadavar dogs to search the entire property for possible corpses and also some mention of giving all the children DNA tests to see if they actually belong to the couple.

Oh no seeing 'cadaver dogs' reminds of the DS McCann threads. :brickwall:

Imagine being on the jury Nucks?

A year is just an estimate, it could be a lot longer.

Well the mother is 49 and the youngest child is 2.

It's possible of course, but i wouldn't be surprised if the baby belongs to one of the daughters.

It’ll be one for the record books to be sure. Don’t know if I’d seek out that kind of notoriety though.

They have determined that all of the children are the biological children of both parents.

Talking of juries..

America don't seem to have the same restrictions in place as we do.

Once someone is charged the press are usually restricted in what they report incase, it influences the jury.

However even though the parents have been charged, lots of stuff is still being reported.
