He doesn't play anything.

Cheers Rolly  Not always into blues, but enjoyed that.
Very cool voice - & clearly a very laid back guy.

(The other guy plays a mean harmonica, btw)

not so laid back when he's talking politics ...

If he looks a bit stiff physically I think it's a health issue with his legs.

Never even occurred to me, Rolly :dunno: too busy enjoying his singing to notice, tbh

I use a Keystation 49 MIDI keyboard controller and electric guitar.
I make short loops then stitch them all together.
I also use loops by other people.
I can't play the guitar very well but if I make a short loop I can then get it to loop.
Make more like bass and lead and loop them.
Deciding where everything goes is where all the real work is.
I have enough sounds and effects to fill a universe.
For a band in the 70's to do this they would have needed a large recording studio.
Today it's all done on a couple of instruments and a desktop pc.
The software is incredible for helping me to produce this stuff.
The computer creates nothing though.
All the creative stuff is me.
This piece has 52 tracks.

My little keyboard as the name suggests has only 49 keys.
Black and white piano keys.
It has no inbuilt sounds.
It has no speakers.
It can do nothing with just me and it.
My pc is stuffed with MIDI patches which is what it uses to play sound.
A lot of short guitar bits you hear are actually played on the keyboard not a guitar.
I can choose from thousands of instruments and sounds ... space dust wind banjo and so on but these sounds can then be manipulated edited mixed with others.
They sound nothing like what you'd get from an electronic keyboard with built in sounds.
I love the technology and it's been a hobby for around 20 years now.
A lot of the drums and percussion are created from the keyboard too.
I'm often furiously hammering away at a drum solo which later gets mixed up with the guitars etc to produce what you hear.
