The sensible thing would have been not to take the dog up the mountain in the first place!

Poor dog :shake head: it would have never left its owner up there thats for sure :shake head:

she was deliberately abandoned.

there were 2 of them, if they couldn't carry her, 1 of them could have gone for help while the other stayed with her. i think he knew she had some medical condition & took her up there to leave her rather than pay vets bills.

you wouldn't take a dog that old on that kind of walk in the first place. i hope the cunt dies.

That sounds quite feasible, A dog of 12 Years is comparable to a Human persons age of Seventy Five Years and would be considered by a vet as a Senior Age, certainly not up to climbing mountains.

further to this item, both climbers left the dog behind, gave wrong directions to the search teams who then abandoned the search,
Two days later Paul Finnegan went back up the Mountain and located the dead dog within minutes.

Hi Major

We wrongly assumed you was talking re your friend, the deluded poster :pmsl: :pmsl:

Anyways, before we go for another bath/shower today, we did read the headlines yesterday and thought what a loser

We do not keep dogs as they are mans best friend and need to be looked after night and day and we can't do that.

Some of you do not understand the innate survival qualities of man.

Would you have rather stayed on said mountain and died yourself?????

If you had been injud would you have eaten the dog to stay alive yourself???????

You ain't gotta clue, have you???????????????

I'd have stayed with my dog, I don't have a dog at the moment, if I had I very much doubt I could leave it to die alone.

Same with my cats, I love them, they are family to us :wubbers:

Why would you want to take an elderly dog up a steep mountain in the first place?

I know Meg was a Border Collie - and they are known for their vitality and energy - but bless her, she can't have been that well in the first place for her legs to give out like they did.

Well for a start, I wouldn't have taking my dog up a mountain and under no circumstances, would I ever eat my dog.

I would rather starve.
