:wubbers: absolutely love Harvest Moon, was just about to post it too.
I can play it on guitar.

Like a Hurricane is much easier - and the same chords as an early Roxy Music tune - so people think you're more versatile that you really are. :gigglesnshit:

It's pretty simple, just four chords, it's all in the strumming pattern.

For versatility- Dream by the Everleys and Stand By Me by Ben E King also have the same chords bar one.

Stand By Me needs decent singing, as does Dream - that's why I only do fast ones.

I see the moon, the moon sees me
Under the shade of the old oak tree
Oh, let the light that shines on me
shine on the one I love.

Goodnight doogies.

I already posted that. But I'll let you off, once so many pages have been posted, I don't expect you to look-over everything that's been posted.

It's a great song though.

Well I don't perform for an audience so I don't need to worry about the singing/catawailing. :gigglesnshit:

I'm thinking you have discovered over time what I have ... the slower the tune the more acurate you have to be.
The faster the tune few can hear the mistakes.

With your voice you've got to use or lose it - and with age that becomes increasingly difficult. Similarly, guitar becomes too heavy on the fingers - I think that's why older folk (even McCartney) like the Uke.
