A Christian I know claims to have a piece of the true cross - there's a lot it about. :ooer:

It can't be like the rock we have here because it hasn't undergone the atmospheric or environmental pressures we have here.
So it's deffo a special out of this world rock type.

But how would you know? Someone brought me a piece of the Berlin Wall when it fell but it looks just like a lump of breeze block with some graffiti on it - could be anything. :dunno:

Oh the Internet rock is probably fake.
Are we assuming the moon landing was fake as well? :doomed: it's too late for that debate.

Well, ....never mind. :wurms:

The moon landings - not the rock which is 99% likely to be fake.

If it's hard rock, how come there's lots of powdery dust on it? Where's that come from? Any other planet got the same?

Or was that just in the studio? :doomed:

I was at cross purposes - I thought you were going to buy some moon rock off the internet.

Yes, they can examine it.

I'm just trying to listen to some music now and the moon again!!!

Take an eye for an eye
A tooth for a tooth
Just like they say in the Bible
Never leave a trace or forget a face
Of any man at the table
Any man at the table

When the moon is a cold chiseled dagger
And it's sharp enough to draw blood from a stone
He rides through your dreams on a coach
And horses and the fence posts
In the moonlight look like bones

Well they've stopped trying to hold him
With mortar, stone and chain
He broke out of every prison
Boots mount the staircase
The door is flung back open
He's not there for he has risen
He's not there for he has risen

Some say he once killed a man with a guitar string
He's been seen at the table with kings
Well he once saved a baby from drowning
There are those that say beneath his coat there are wings .......................

I worked for a few weeks (cleaning) for Century 21 Productions (Thunderbirds, Joe 90 etc). Their moon rock was made of polystyrene - you'd never know it wasn't real from a just a few inches away.

Looks like it's made from cannabis.

Chalky rock.

But chalk is fairly soft. Look at the chalk cliffs collapse around our coastline. :dunno:

You've got to hand it to Hollywood/film production, they are pretty good at faking stuff.

Well, they weren't Hollywood - but kinda synchronously (Harvey Weinstein refers), the walls of the main puppet room were covered ceiling to floor with pornography. Lucky there wasn't Mumsnet at the time.
