Food for thought.
Not that you should care, your team is OUT!
But you are welcome to sit back and watch us lift the cup!

I think some managers take the gamble that the B team can do the business so the star players don't have to play at all and get a complete rest, rather than put them on at the beginning and play them for an hour or so. Pro footballers should be able to manage an hour, you could even let the poor sods skip the next training session if it was too much for them.
Also though, you have to let the peripheral players get some competitive action now and again, and looking at the fixtures, if you can't play them away to Rochdale, when could you? Although fans want to see the best team possible in every game, the manager has to look at the bigger picture and manage the whole squad.
I'm wondering what team Wenger will put out on Thursday - a 3-0 first leg lead, and the EFL final just 3 days later. We are already down to the bare bones in attack - Lacazette injured, Auba cup tied, and Giroud and Walcott sold. We will have the useless duo of Welbeck and Iwobi featuring in both games. Thank goodness Auba can play in the EFL final though.
I would like to see Eddie Nketiah get a start, he came off the bench to score both goals in the 2-1 win over Norwich, and has what I believe is called 'attitude' - the sort of player opposing fans will take an instant dislike to, but you kind of like it when he's one of your own.

Yes, as we had back to back games from top 6 teams to Juve on the Tuesday night, but now they will have to play an extra match, I know we have players that need game time, but they need to get the job done so they should start with the big boys at Wembley against Rochdale.
And totally agree with your comment liking it when he's one of your own.
