Hugely popular might become a thing of the past pretty rapidly.
It's very sad.

Didn't he just spend however long getting clean.

What a knob.

Hope those involved in the crash are not injured badly

You and Ant are kindred spirits.

But he's successful and well liked. Well, he was.

Ant McPartlin has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after smashing into two cars.

A girl of three was taken to hospital after the troubled I'm A Celebrity host, 42, lost control of his Mini with his mum inside.

The star, who is worth £60million, failed a roadside breathalyser test and was taken away by cops in the back of a police car for questioning.

The TV host lost control of his black Mini on a roundabout and went head-on into a green Mini containing a couple and their young child.

His car, with a distinctive double red stripe, hit a maroon BMW and ended upon the opposite side of the road.

So do I. 'Going back into rehab' might be a solution but it's no excuse. He should know better, and so should his mother.

His career is over. I always found Ant n Dec very talented and funny. Dec's on his own, now.

I couldn't imagine an Ant driving a car. How would he reach the pedals and see over the steering wheel at the same time? Perhaps it was one of them adapted Motability cars specially designed for insects.

Was that his mother in the car? They'd apparently been taking the dog for a walk, so when had he been drinking, and why would she let him drive?

It's a shame, but now he's risking hurting others as well as himself, not to mention wrecking a car or two - I'd be pissed off if someone crashed into my car. Maybe this will make him sort himself out, although it could make him feel even worse.

he'll feel worse for now but sometimes people need to hit rock bottom before they see how far they've fallen. this might be the wake up call he needs to get himself sorted.

That's what I was just going to say.

That vid of him getting out the car he is clearly off his head. What was his mother thinking letting him drive. She has enabled him a bit.

He needs to sort his life out that's for sure & when he sobers up I hope he is very grateful he didn't kill anyone .
