how do you make yours? i had it once years ago & loved it but when i try to make it myself it never seems right.

Potatoes onions carrots boil it slow cooker .you can use any veg .cut up Tin of corned beef add to cooked veg add gravy granules done. :smilin:

thanks, i'll buy the corned beef next time i'm out & give it a go.

Mr Nucks makes good corned beef hash. He puts the corned beef in the fridge that morning so it’s easier to cut up and seems to hold its form better. If you like it a little mushy you wouldn’t need to do that though.

thanks for the suggestion, i'll try that too.

We had pork steaks with Marsala and wild mushroom butter, carrot and swede mash, green peppers and mushrooms on the side. And vino blanco on the other side of the plate. Bit tipsy now. :Wiiiine!:

Talking of dumplings. I usually make plain ones but sometimes chuck a few herbs in. I used to know an elderly man who was a chef in the RAF and he used to chop up a leek and add plenty of S and P and make leek dumplings. They were delicious.

Me too, especially when it’s ready made from Ocado. I can’t do absolutely everything! :gigglesnshit:
