I was at the till at Lidl waiting to pay about 2 weeks ago, this little old lady in front of me was searching through her purse frantically, looking embarrassed and panicking. She obviously didn’t have enough money to pay for her goods and was almost in tears. She was about £6 short of her total, so being the gentleman that I am, I stepped up to the plate and helped her put back the items she obviously couldn’t afford so the queue could keep moving.

Poor old bag looked starving as well...

Mean , but funny.
