It was a (shallow) convo about being with a partner that’s better looking than you.
He basically said if you can make women laugh you are halfway there.
The whole studio laughed.

Hiya m'lady and yes it was a good giggle yesterday and yes contrary to what everyone here thinks my humour when I get to show it is razor sharp and I basically said that 'punching above your weight' in a relationship is all about have the confidence to chat someone up which is never used to have but more importantly being able to make a woman laugh and it's job done and I came out with a comment about already being taken and the whole studio laughed and Matthew came up to me at the end and said it was the funniest line he'd heard in the context of the convoy at the time but I got my 15 seconds of fame at last lol.......at nd then I went to the interview with the events company and they were very impressed with me so hopefully I'll get a call on Monday about going for an induction but I'm also in the audience again one last time on Monday so look out for me guys lol......

Yeah I think you said you were taken when Storm reeled off a list of desirable traits in a man, it was funny.

Just don’t hand over any money for forseeable work from this tv experience. Why aren’t you welding anymore, you done with it?

You don't have talk some bollocks micky, I worked with a rigging crew back in the 90's They were all in there 30's and fit.
They would show up at the concert site and wait for the stage to arrive. As soon as it did they started work and basically didn't stop until the stage was up and everything worked. They would work 48 hours straight through rest and then work straight through until the stage was dismantled and they would meet it at the next location. They would work six months of the year and then take the next six off. They were paid well and could afford to do so. They worked as a team and all knew what to do. There's no way a 54 year old bloke is going to walk into a job like that and last more than a day. They won't carry or cover for you.
I was on a team that built a stage and had put it together several times before they came to practice To be ready to set it up in under 24 hours. I was watching them on my lunch break and made the the mistake of pointing out a few mistakes in the way they were erecting it. This led to me being told by my boss that they wanted me to go to Monaco with them to supervise
Lucky enough It all got cancelled at the last minute because the proper permits weren't gained for the stage to be erected at the Monaco Grand Prix.

I've got a friend who's brother is in event management, they did the Gail Porter projection on the MI5 building as well as other spectacular stuff. There's plenty of lazy stuff to do like sitting in Dubai for three months waiting for a Prince to turn up and open a new building.

My friend has a degree in electrical engineering and is a time served rigger and also well into his fifties and has earned the easy stuff, he's a fellow signal sniffer and used to rig aerials with me for beer money and a bit of relaxation. There is no way that he'd put himself on the road again at his age.

I'm off to the BBC studios in Glasgow next Thursday.

I'm accompanying my mother to a recording of her favourite television show.

Filming starts at 7pm and finishes at 10pm.

The programme is only on 45 minutes, so fuck knows why we have to be there so long.

Of course we'll get lost in our way there and will no doubt have to end up getting a taxi.

It's going to be great fun.
