Maybe that's not the right word, a Bureaucracy is actually what you believe in.
I don't support the EU because of the it's "demographic deficit", it's lack of democratic legitimacy.
It was actually the Young European Federalists who first coined that term, Pro-Europeans used to be the ones arguing for the EC/EU to be reformed to address that deficit, and giving the EU Parliament proper law-making powers, whereas Eurosceptics wanted to reduce the Parliament's powers even more.
It has democratic legitimacy as evidenced from the MEP elections which hardly anyone turns up to vote on. Perhaps if the majority of our media concentrated on the very boring but democratic (and by that I don't mean members of the fishing committee who didn't bother to turn up) stuff that actually matters to our benefit rather than the 'up yours Delours' mentality of the last twenty years.
I vote and campaign in every election, can you say the same?
