Not they don't, they say:

An estimated 13% of Acts and Statutory Instruments have an EU influence, whereas that rises to 62% when EU regulations are included in addition to Acts and Statutory Instruments.

Regulations are not stand alone laws as you state. Do you know any damn thing about anything - or are you trolling yet again?

Estimates range from 13% to 65%, although all have problems

Give it up Ray, you've been conned by a load of self-serving bastards.

Ray isn't the usual shout over your points gammon, I think he's open to argument.

I've yet to see evidence of that - but like you so far I've given him the benefit of the doubt. He simply goes silent when he can't answer a question or is beaten in debate. I have yet to see him have the common courtesy to concede.

Not into voting in favour of an undemocratic institution though.

If it was democratic there is an argument for rule at a pan-European level.

I'd rather go the other way though, devolution, local rule, not a fan of further globalisation which will only benefit the rich.

I've rarely seen this on forums in the political spectrum...I wish more of it would take place to find some meaning in the debates.

To be fair, it is a somewhat unequal playing field where most of the vaguely right-wing posters have been banned and it seems there's only one right-wing person allowed to argue with a bunch of left-wingers at any one time.

The odds are somewhat stacked against you.

Concede that most of our laws aren't made in Brussels?

Even independent websites say they are, or at least could be, it's not a black and white issue you would concede over.

No right-wing posters were banned for being right-wing. Stop trolling and you should be fine.

The EU is no less democratic than the UK.

It's like a bunch of cats gathered around a molehill, taking it in turns to whack the poor mole with their paws.

Something which I did see once and have never liked cats much since, evil little torturing bastards that they are.

I do it when I'm wrong. Ray just repeats his previous bollox or goes silent - peado-enabler Thatcher being a case in point.
