Yes this mother of two rocked up on our shores from Ghana in 2002. Jumping the housing queue because 'her need was greater' than the many thousands of Brits who had been sitting on lists for decades and was soon granted citizenship.
Was she grateful? for sure, she'd found Treasure Island and she was going to take the gullible mugs who lived there and fell for her shite for everything she could get. She barely had to play the race card to get what she wanted, the establishment were and still are well versed in giving 'minorities' whatever they want without question.
So she strolled down to her local housing office and demanded a bigger house because she'd just had another child, her third. Only it wasn't hers it was a nephew but no-one thought to check, why? Bingo she gets a three bedroom house.
No-one would ask why she was claiming a single persons 25% discount on her council tax or bothered to check why she was letting out the council house to as many as five people at a time, whilst she jetted about the globe and sent her children to private school on the proceeds. In 2014 she got found out, how is anyone's guess but she did after raking in tens of £thousands by fraudulently letting out her council property and making false claims.
Despite the evidence she argued she'd done nothing wrong until just this month when she was found guilty. Luck was still with her though as she cried and begged in court not to be put in prison and despite the judge saying "You told so many lies during this trial, it’s so hard to know what is true and what isn’t." she was given a suspended sentence and ordered to pay £5000 costs - good luck with that as she told the judge she only had £5 a month disposable income.
Still even after all that, I love the fact that she came here and enriched the lives of so many of us.
