Just my Granddad - he was my soul mate, we agreed on everything and he was the only person who ever watched me play in the rugby team as a kid.

A true war hero - who never said anything about it, ever.

He died in a hospital bed in agony before I got to to hold his hand.

That haunts me.

Sorry to hear that. I imagine it would. We all want to be there for them at the end, but sometimes it's just not possible to get there in time.
