How are people rating this World Cup?

I don't feel it's as exciting as say Euro 2016 was.. I can't put my finger on why. Might be the lack of juicy matches, with exception of Portugal v Spain and Mexico pumping the krauts... Just my impression

ETA: early days yet I know.

There have been some surprising results so far. That's surely a good thing. The unpredictability of it keeps things interesting.
Hope there will be fewer goals from penalties and more spontaneous ones.
I'm impressed by the first touch of the whole England team, they are more technically gifted than in previous years - just a personal opinion.

It should have been at least 3-1 if not 4.

On my way home from the shops on Monday, i was thinking an early England goal would settle nerves.
By the time i arrived we'd already got our first goal. Phew! But then came the agonising equaliser.
Kane spinning round and heading that second goal in was the purest form of magic i've seen on a pitch for a long, long time.
For me, it came out of nowhere. Conjured something out of nothing. Which is why i call it magic.


Hope there won't be too much pressure on him. Unwise! He knows what he's got to do, let him just work his magic quietly.
The media saying "He's the new ronaldo/messi". No pressure there then!
They should be patient, there will be plenty of time to praise him to the hilt if he takes us far - or even all the way!!
