Raining Cats and Dogs

Postby measurer » Sat Jun 02, 2018 7:08 pm

Sitting here looking out the window and boy, am I glad I didn't go out! The rain is coming down hard and straight! Really warm though - kind of hoping this is clearing away the mugginess for more sun. Let me dream....

Think there's going to be flooding.

Have you had this predicted downpour in your area of the country yet?

Raining heavy all day here - not seen a single falling cat or dog though. This lot think it's raining men. :ooer:

No and I wish it would, it's so muggy. My garden needs some rain.

I was so hot last night I spent most of the night talking to the dog and singing to her, for some reason she decided to sleep on the bed rather than under it, so it's her own fault.

Thick low cloud here for the last few hours.
Can't see fifty yards out the window.
Went to pick my grandson up and a mile away from here it's crystal clear.
The temp at my house was 14 the temp a mile away shot to 18.
But in the last ten minutes the cloud has lifted.
Very muggy.

I thought after 3 hours of constant downpour it would have lifted this mugginess but nope, it hasn't.

Just taking the dog out - even she looked at me as if I was daft when I asked if she wanted out earlier! lol
