I'm a freelancer but in reality I have one large contract with an American company that produces industry newsletters for national organisations/unions/institutes - basically I'm a researcher, but if I need extra work I copywrite or copyedit, at a push I do proofreading but it's not my favourite

Christ no, not in the slightest bit interesting

general contractors, concrete, erosion control, tolling - it's all stuff like that

the civil engineering stuff is fascinating though

Oh you work on big engineering projects HF, or have I misunderstood bcos apart from Crossrail in London one of the biggest ongoing projects atm is the Northern line extension near Battersea in London and also the new Spurs ground is nearing completion now, and my potential new job is very exciting but until it's hopefully confirmed tomorrow I'd really rather not say anything otherwise I'll put the mockers on it........

I love the sound of the washing machine early in the morning in the summertime. It sounds different. How sad is that haha

I normally log off all internet by 9pm watch a film or couple of TV series episodes, go to bed and read a while, then go to sleep around 11/12.
