UB40 are one of the best bands for making covers their own songs.
They didn’t even know this massive hit for them was first sung by Neil Diamond, they’d only heard a reggae version of it.

Yes it was a great cover. Have saw Aerosmith live - very intimate gig. Met Great White who supported them that night too.

The reason it was so small was that they had just beaten a few addictions, and were starting out again, trying to capture their earlier success. Yes, it was a great night, and to be so close that you could touch them was a bonus.
