Ready for bed already
Once upon a time.... at this time of the evening I'd be getting ready to go out...
...but wished I was going to bed.
Oh, best times ever was the anticipation before going out..in younger days.
Did you not feel that?
I lived quite an exciting life from my early teens. By the time I moved to London, same area but before you, I found the High St Ken/Portabello/Notting Hill "scene" somewhat wearisome. There were many nights when I prayed to be left alone.
I don't miss it tbh - perhaps I've always been boring?
i was wrong, again!

I used to live just off Holland Park - can't help wondering how many times we might have passed each other along Holland Park/Bayswater Road

]I loved the 1980s. I used to have huge hair and be accessorised within an inch of my life at all times... hats, gloves, belts and scarves - the lot!
I used to have beads, bangles, earrings and hair accessories in every colour you could think of.
