It all depends on what floats your boat. I generally prefer techno music more rather than punk rock.

I love Joy Divison but I rarely listen to them because it takes me back to the shittiest time of my life, I often get halfway through a song and have to put it off.

And I really don’t like New Order at all, don’t mind a couple of song but that’s about it.

i agree re Joy Dvision being by far superior.
-I can understand associating music with different times in our lives---so perfectly understandable.
I guess i can listen to Joy Division because they were really after my time(born in 58 and a 60s 70s kid....didnt really appreciate Joy Division until I was in my 40s.
Didnt even know who they were in 77-80. In college was listening to mostly classical,indian etc.
