I offered to do someone a favour next week and they told me tonight that would be great but would I wear something summery and funky because I am apparently not summery and funky enough to help them out serving customers but I could make cakes if I wanted.

Aye well they can ram the cake I am not going to make where the summery sun don’t shine up their funky arses.

My baby had her last day of nursery today and I’m a blubbery mess.
Preschool in September and I’m not ready for that level of grown up

Awwww. They grow up so quickly.

I was at a party yesterday (helllllllo lingering hangover) of Year 6 parents whose kids are off to big school in September. My goodness, the blubbering. Dads are so soft these days...

I'll be walking my eldest to her primary school for the very last time tomorrow. I've been doing that journey with her every weekday for years (although in the last few months it hasn't been cool to be seen walking with Dad so it's just me and the very chatty little one.)

I've got a lump in my throat just thinking about it. No longer Daddy's little girl yet always Daddy's little girl.

Nobody made me feel as safe as my dad did, my husband looks after me but my dad made me feel like everything would always be ok because he was in the world.

Saw a woman wearing a top today that I think had a picture of Katy Perry on it, but she looked Asian. That’s what happens when you buy two sizes too small.
