They should have weaned you off them, but that was a bloody man-made drug, once again. It left a few scarred with it's overuse, and they were warned - the doctors - to wipe as many off the Repeat lists, as fast as they could, Result? A lot were left with anxiety! And NO counselling or help.

Nothing else works to get rid of anxiety quickly.

SSRIs reduce anxiety over time but you still get it, benzos get rid of it quick.

Yep, nothing like a valium when you're so high you could climb walls with no ladder. I keep some in the house and have had to use them a few times recently. Glad they are here, but doctors are prescribing them less and less. I am on a group where some silly girls were saying they were going to "try" the 20mg vallies. I went berserk at them, for there are no 20mgs to get except for hospital, and that they are not real ones and are fulll of all kinds. Their answer? To laugh and say they definitely will try them now!
I told them they were mugs and left the convo. Got to wonder why people will take drugs that they have no idea where originated from.

People are confused about cannabis oil and it's no wonder.
You can now buy cannabis oil in Holland and Barrett but it isn't cannabis oil it's CBD oil.
If it was cannabis oil the kid in the news wouldn't be having the problems he's been having .... his mum could just pop to the shops.
The kid was on the real thing which on the street is rare these days in the UK.
It was common in the seventies in the North of England as the real thing came in from Morocco .... made by white English hippies with attitude.
It was headed by a young lady who the Manchester Evening News had labelled Shelly the blond haired cannabis queen.
This was when she was caught with some relatively small amounts in a cottage in a small quiet part of Greater Manchester.
The oil is the purest strongest kind of cannabis that's ever been available on the streets.
Convenient too.
You could dip a match in your bottle and simply wipe it down the side of a Benson and Hedges.
Instant spliff.
Hash oil can be around 80% THC so be warned should you come across some any time without experience.
All this talk gives me something of an effect I refer to as euphoric recall.
Tempts me to come out of retirement!

I've been getting mine from the same source for around 40 years - the quality has remained about the same - though certain things are more rare; gold seal, temple balls etc, and that clear liquid you could stripe a tailor-made fag with at gigs (can't remember what it's called now).

Tbh, my state of mind rarely varies with or without - though sometimes I still go to the bathroom and forget why I'm there.

I joined an FB site for those using CBD who have CFS, there are so many different types of CBD ,it is bewildering. I bought some from Holland and Barret but it made me feel a bit weird, sleepy, starving but a bit wired up... slept well though.

I have a couple of bottles of CBD somewhere.
One unopened one partly used.

I think I was underwhelmed, pretty unpleasant feeling , like being stoned without the high. Not good! But maybe the wrong sort I took, only noticed good sleep but I sleep well anyway at moment, though wake early as is usual at this time of year... birds tweeting etc
