Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads!

Hugs and stuff to all those whose Dads were/are absent or who are sadly no longer among us - and also to those whose Dads were not up to much. Such days can be very hard to bear.

Also big kudos to Mums who manage also to be "Dads" - no mean achievement.

Also, warm thoughts to those with complicated dad relationships. My daughter doesn’t like this holiday, she appreciates my husband as her stepdad but has unresolved issues otherwise.

I got whiskey and lager!
But best of all I got a phone call from my youngest son who I have had no contact with for about seven months.
He's 36 and a dad himself but works unpredictable hours as a computer engineer.
Been impossible to visit him or even catch him on the phone ... till today.
That phone call made my day!
I'll be seeing him this coming week hopefully.
