Mr VC decided he wanted a roast dinner today, we haven't bothered for the past couple of weeks due to the weather, so we've had roast beef, yorkies, new potatoes (yum!), peas, carrots, broccoli, beans, and apple pie and vanilla ice cream for pudding. It was not fun cooking it but tasted bloody lovely.

There's enough of the best to make Mr VC a roast beef salad for work tomorrow (he's type 2 diabetic so takes food to work to eat during quiet times) and beef cobs for me tomorrow.

Ended up having a just couple of slices of extra mature cheddar on toast.

Not exactly haute cuisine like so many on this thread but not to bad for a quick snack. :oops:
