The bottom one reminds me of one in a hotel I stayed in, it was so deep and relaxing, not like a normal bath. You really feel cut off from the worries of the world in them.

Another thing I just remembered, we had to have ours fixed 3 or 4 years ago, the motor just gave up for no apparent reason since we didn't use it very often, and boy that was a mission and was quite expensive too.

I hope you go for that stylish deep bath :smilin:

Sounds like a right pain, I’ve found a bargain for something similar to the bottom one on eBay.

Conserve water...Go for top of the line rain shower head system with wall jet panels and stop there!

We stayed somewhere with a whirlpool bath for a week or so and in the middle of the night after I had used it it made this horrendous noise and I couldn’t get it to stop, also like Holly says I thought there were quite loud and a for me bit fierce in the whirlpooling, I had to hold on to the sides of the bath at one point it was bouncing me about. My husband thought it was hilarious because I came out a frazzled wreck.

I love a bath, it’s one of those things in life that just make me glad to be living. I always think how lucky I am to be able to have a bath. I like those showers too Holly, but I can’t use a shower, I get too dizzy in them.

As Holly said, the whirlpool baths aren’t very good. Quite noisy, and unless used regularly are prone to malfunction. They are a bastard to repair, usually it takes the manufacturer to send a specialist. You’ll be waiting a while and when it’s out of warranty will cost a fortune to repair...

I fucking hate Craig Charles but his taste in soul music is exceptional. His tributes to the First Lady of soul have been brilliant this afternoon.

RIP Aretha :wubbers:

 The person who recommended I get one has just installed one himself so is new to it and raving about how great it is. I’m glad I asked on here now because the practical advice has been just what I needed.

My lovely little friend has decided to take a nose dive into shit somewhere today, my son had her out for a walk and brought her back and went out to get my prescription. I’m lazing a bout, she’s snoozing it up on the couch...THERE IS A MAN IN THE KITCHEN fixing the tumble dryer and my son comes back in and says.. what’s that smell, I smell poo. We are searching around wondering if she’s been no well or something and had an accident, we are getting more and more demented all the while THERE WAS A MAN IN THE KITCHEN fixing the tumble dryer. Eventually she went strolling up to my son to get a clap and he screamed..it’s on her, it’s on her. I, have a sinus infection and can’t smell a thing so I didn’t notice the smell (which) the tumble dryer man said was fierce :shame: so we had to take her up to wash her, then when we dried her we could smell cooking poo so back up she went in the shower..she still reeks, so I’ve had to clipper her fur off.

Ffs there was a man in here for ages while my whole house was reeking of shit.
